Mainline Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Call Center Specialist to join the Call Center team.

The role focuses on clerical duties to prepare patients for visits, schedule appointments in the EMR, and handle patient information with care as part of a Patient Centered Medical Home model. Responsibilities include answering incoming calls, collecting third party payment information, transferring calls, and participating in daily huddles and clinic meetings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Secretarial training preferred; prior related experience may substitute.
• Minimum five years of secretarial experience desirable.
• Ability to use current office machines and equipment.
• Type at least 60 words per minute.
• Effective communication with staff, patients, and medical staff.

Responsabilités

• Schedules appointments in the EMR.
• Gather third party payment information.
• Maintain patient demographics and structured information.
• Answer all incoming calls and transfer to appropriate staff.
• Perform other duties to meet the goal of primary health care.
• Serve as part of the care team and follow workflows.
• Attend continuing education related to the position as needed.
• Participate in monthly clinic meetings.
• Participate in daily huddles.
• Complete training per Mainline Health Systems, Inc.
• Work No-Show/Cancellation action list.
• Call and confirm future appointments.
• Other duties assigned by Clinic Manager and Office Manager.
