Job summary

QUIPT HOME MEDICAL INC in Columbus, GA, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the direct contact for patients, caregivers and referral sources, handling orders, inquiries and issues with care and courtesy.

You will verify insurance, process orders, schedule deliveries, and support clinical staff, while following company policies and training programs. Prior clerical or CSR experience and Microsoft Office proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a Clerical or Customer Service environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication and typing.
• Neat appearance and professional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• All products we carry; follow company policies and training.
• Verify insurance eligibility and provide patient billing information.
• Input orders, process paperwork, and handle prescriptions as needed.
• Schedule deliveries/pickups with patients and caregivers.
• Answer calls with a professional greeting and route inquiries correctly.
• Maintain patient records and file deliveries daily.
