Job summary

Quipt Home Medical, Corp. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary liaison for patients, caregivers, and referral sources. You will process orders, verify insurance, and resolve inquiries with courteous, accurate service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a clerical or customer service environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and related software.
• Proficient general office skills (typing, computer, fax, filing, multiple phone lines).
• Neat appearance with professional demeanor; strong communication and decision-making abilities; experience with Medicare/Medicaid billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as direct point of contact for patients, caregivers, referral sources, and commercial accounts via in-person, phone, or online channels.
• Receive, qualify, and process customer orders according to procedures.
• Investigate and respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, products, deliveries, and complaints.
• Verify insurance and handle prior authorizations when applicable.
• Input orders and changes into the system; prepare necessary paperwork and prescriptions.
• Coordinate delivery/pickup times with patients and caregivers; relay information to clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation; file and archive records daily.
• Assist in generating computer reports for quality assurance.
• Provide patient with proper equipment usage instructions and required documentation.
