Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Patient Registration to streamline new patient onboarding and transition to our home infusion services. The role collaborates with Sales to prepare referrals and ensures a smooth transfer to home/AIS care.

The position supports discharge coordination, documentation, and upfront patient payments, while helping patients access financial assistance programs as needed. A fast-paced team environment is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience required.
• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient’s upfront payment including assisting patients to find avenues for payment and directing to financial assistance programs.
• Supports ongoing activities to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management.
• Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
