Job summary

Summit Orthopedics seeks a full-time Patient Coordinator to support clinical operations across multiple campuses. The role includes scheduling follow-up appointments and surgeries, triaging patient calls, and coordinating care between teams under supervision of the Practice Development Manager.

Typical duties involve managing physician schedules, handling voicemails and emails, entering orders in the EMR, and assisting with patient forms as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating patient care across care teams.
• Ability to manage physician schedules and clinic/surgery calendars.
• Strong communication with patients and care providers.

Responsibilities

• Answer and respond to patient calls, triage, and manage voicemail and email.
• Schedule and coordinate physician daily clinics and surgeries, including urgent cases.
• Support care coordination between team members and other Summit departments.
• Enter physician orders into the electronic medical record as directed.
• Provide information packets and documents per physician protocols.
