Job summary

Summit Orthopedics in Minnesota seeks a Patient Coordinator to support clinical coordination, scheduling follow-ups and surgeries, and ensure clear communication across care teams.

This full-time float role requires 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with coverage across Summit campuses and outreach sites as needed. The position includes triaging patient calls, coordinating physician schedules, and EMR data entry to support patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate degree or completion of medical administrative/health care program preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Answer and triage patient phone calls daily.
• Manage physician schedules, clinic and surgery calendars and urgent patient logistics.
• Coordinate patient care between team members and other departments.
• Communicate physician and provider information to patients and staff.
• Enter physician orders in the EMR accurately.
• Provide non-clinical support and patient information packets per protocol.
