Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain CMA / RMA / NCMA / CCMA / NRCMA within six months.
• Illinois EMT license or Paramedic/EMT certification required on hire.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow and assist physicians/APPs during visits.
• Maintain clean, safe patient care areas and protect patient confidentiality.
• Obtain vital signs and document visit reasons, allergies, and pharmacy info.
• Prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, and set up equipment.
• Assist with referrals, transfers, and discharge processes.
• Support team with administrative tasks and ensure smooth clinic operation.
