Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1+ years of receptionist or healthcare-related experience
• Willing and able to travel to cover other practices, as needed
• Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license

Responsibilities

• Obtain accurate patient information and insurance details
• Perform insurance verification on the date of service
• Obtain patient signatures for required documents
• Upload government ID and insurance cards
• File and maintain medical records
• Manage registration work queue errors
• Schedule appointments and answer calls promptly
• Process referrals and claims corrections as needed
• Adhere to Optum policies and HIPAA/OSHA requirements
• Assist team to meet goals and deliver high-quality service
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with patients and staff
