Job summary

Axios International is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support and manage Patient Support Programs. The role focuses on timely, compassionate, and professional patient assistance throughout treatment journeys, acting as an advocate and guide within quality standards.

The coordinator will travel to client sites as needed, maintain records, ensure enrolment accuracy, and support program performance reporting while complying with Axios SOPPs and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Medical background or social work preferred.
• 0-1 year experience in healthcare/NGO ideal.
• Experience with data monitoring and management advantageous.
• Experience coordinating logistics or customer service advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the line manager and program team in managing Patient Support Program(s) by liaising with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate patient files and submit as per project standards.
• Ensure timely enrolment of eligible patients per workflow and timelines.
• Educate and coordinate with patients to facilitate enrollment.
• Accompany team on visits to health-care providers, pharmacies, or patient sites to support implementation.
• Ensure patients receive medications efficiently and without delay.
• Prepare regular reports on program performance and QA metrics with the team.
• Maintain electronic records related to patient data and QA.
• Complete required trainings including product training, pharmacovigilance, and Axios SOPPs.
• Report adverse events per client requirements and Axios SOPPs.
