Job summary

Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC seeks a Patient Care Coordinator, Global Services to provide high‑level care coordination for international patients and sponsors. You will manage admissions, appointments, and logistics, while delivering empathetic, multilingual support throughout the patient journey.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross‑disciplinary care, communicating with payers and sponsors, maintaining accurate data, and guiding families from inquiry to repatriation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3 years of related care coordination experience.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• 1 year experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Fluency in English and at least one foreign language.
• Proficiency with MS 365 and data systems.
• Strong communication, diplomacy, and judgment.
• Medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international patient admissions and appointments.
• Liaise with payers, sponsors, and clinical teams.
• Maintain accurate patient data across systems.
• Provide exceptional multilingual customer service.
• Prepare and share medical reports for follow‑up care.
• Assist with logistics including accommodations and transport.
• Participate in on‑call rotation as needed.
