Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• 1+ years of experience in a medical office handling scheduling, check-in/out, insurance verification, and records.
• 1+ years of experience using Epic EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and procedures following standard guidelines.
• Answer calls and assist patients over the phone.
• Verify patient information and document in the EHR (EPIC).
• Explain insurance responsibilities and referrals to patients.
• Greet patients and provide directions or instructions as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for patient care.
• Meet performance measures set by Practice Management.
