Banner Health is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant in Tucson, AZ to support clinicians and nursing staff in delivering high-quality care. The role involves patient rooming, vitals, injections, and back-office duties in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The position requires active MA certification and BLS, with strong computer skills and excellent communication. Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within Banner Staffing Services.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Active Medical Assistant certification is required; BLS certification required.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required at certain Banner locations.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for exams by taking vitals and recording symptoms.
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures.
• Coordinate pre-certifications, referrals, and scheduling.
• Document medical records and ensure accurate billing data.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Order supplies and manage medications as directed.
• Communicate with patients and families about care plans.
• Complete onboarding and simulation training as required.
• Work under supervision of providers and liaise with staff.
