Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical care and patient experience in Banner Staffing Services-AZ. You will room patients, take vitals, support procedures, and update electronic medical records with accuracy.

The role also includes front-office tasks such as scheduling, referrals, and coordinating with clinicians, along with maintaining a clean, stocked clinic and adhering to safety protocols. Certification and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification required (AMT/AAMA/NCCT/NHA/CCMA CMA RM A).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by taking vitals and recording measurements.
• Assist with in-office procedures and basic phlebotomy as needed.
• Coordinate referrals, scheduling, and follow-up with tests and treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and support billing processes.
• Ensure clean and stocked clinical areas and proper infection control.
