Job summary

Carle is seeking an experienced Healthcare Operations Manager to oversee a multidisciplinary team across multiple clinical departments. You will align operations with organizational goals, manage budgets, and drive quality, patient satisfaction, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of healthcare work experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve strategic, clinical, programmatic and quality outcomes.
• Strong presentation skills with physicians/providers, hospital administrators, nurses, community members and interdepartmental leaders.
• Strong clinical background and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to problem solve in a team environment and lead change.
• Demonstration of Division Core Principles: Partnership, Access, Service Expertise and Value.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a multidisciplinary team in three or more assigned clinical departments.
• Manage department operations and ensure quality and service standards align with organizational goals.
• Resolve work-related issues and assist employees with problem solving.
• Determine fiscal requirements and prepare annual department budgets.
• Monitor, verify and reconcile expenditures and revenues; prepare financial pro formas as needed.
• Initiate actions for hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, performance evaluations and disciplinary measures.
• Ensure staff are adequately trained and competent to perform required tasks.
• Implement Carle Experience initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and employee engagement.
• Perform ongoing quality audits related to Carle organizational initiatives.
• Manage provider schedules for the branch.
• Ensure appropriate patient intervals and contact hours.
• Partner with the branch dyad partner to ensure effective branch operations.
