Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
  • Minimum of 10+ years in healthcare consulting and/or healthcare operations, patient workflow and hospital revenue cycle management.
  • Experience presenting or consulting to C-suite or large hospital organizations.
  • Healthcare operations and/or consulting experience on team-based projects focusing on culture, patient and employee experience, HR transformation and/or change.
  • Expertise in assigning roles relative to billing, clinical workflow, and documentation within hospital and office-based settings.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills, with sound judgment and decision-making based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to be at the client site 80% of the time.
  • Must possess a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and client retention across assigned clients.
  • Build effective internal and external client relationships to drive client references, additional service adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Optimize clients’ financial and clinical performance using MMX products and services.
  • Coordinate with the SVP Client Services to assess additional opportunities.
  • Identify, address, and resolve a broad range of client and operational issues.
  • Manage profit and loss for client revenue cycle management activities, including workforce management and revenue forecasts.
  • Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle service management for designated clients.
  • Maintain acceptable days in A/R, bad debt, and other key performance indicators.
  • Serve as the accountable leader by creating collaborative, high-performing work environments and removing barriers.
  • Manage budgets, revenue forecasting, margins, invoicing, and billing.
  • Quantify financial and operational benefits of performance improvement initiatives.
  • Identify risks to projected outcomes and develop and implement solutions.
  • Create customized solutions and manage client expectations around benefits and deliverables.
  • Maintain key client relationships and build executive-level and C-suite relationships.
  • Monitor metrics and documentation to manage client satisfaction and retention.
  • Direct process improvements and initiatives to improve client profitability.
  • Track client feedback, issues, improvement plans, progress, and opportunities across delivery teams.
  • Serve as liaison between clients and operations.
  • Conduct regular client reviews and proactively resolve customer issues.
  • Alert customers to changing services and address issues openly and quickly.
  • Ensure key customers become referenceable promoters to support sales.
  • Collaborate with management, sales, operations, and product specialists to identify and assist with upselling and add-on sales.
  • Share information and collaborate on new business opportunities with other business-unit segments.
  • Coordinate with business-unit support and service teams and establish service dialogue between business units.
  • Use, protect, and disclose patients’ PHI in accordance with HIPAA standards.
  • Limit PHI viewing to the minimum necessary and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies.
