Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Kansas is seeking a Patient Care Liaison Business Development Professional to drive strategic referral relationships, census growth, and market expansion across our Skilled Nursing Facilities.

You will cultivate partnerships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, health plans, and community referral sources, while mentoring and coaching business development staff to strengthen market performance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related field (healthcare administration, business, or communications) required.
• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in healthcare, post-acute care preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare sales strategy and referral development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Data-driven decision making and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture strategic referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, health plans, and community sources to drive census growth and market expansion.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations to align business development with organizational goals.
• Mentor and coach business development staff to improve market performance across facilities.
• Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer needs to inform strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and drive patient admissions.
