Job summary

Sweetwater Care seeks a Patient Care Liaison Business Development Professional to drive strategic referral relationships and census growth across Kansas Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will partner with hospitals, physicians, case managers, health plans, and community sources while mentoring BD staff to enhance market performance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field (such as healthcare administration, business, or communications).
• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the healthcare industry, with a focus on post-acute care.
• Strong understanding of referral academy by, healthcare sales strategy, and post-acute care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, health plans, and community referral sources to drive census growth and market expansion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operational leadership, to align business development efforts with organizational goals and objectives
• Provide mentorship and coaching to business development staff to strengthen overall market performance and support the growth of our Skilled Nursing Facilities
• Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer needs to inform business development strategies and tactics
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including referral sources, customers, and internal partners
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive patient admissions
• Achieve or exceed established sales and revenue targets
