Job summary

Quipt Home Medical Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Lexington, KY. You will be the primary contact for patients, caregivers and referral sources to provide equipment and services, verify insurance, and process orders efficiently.

The role requires strong communication, clerical experience, and the ability to handle inquiries and complaints with care. Medical benefits, PTO, and 401K options are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous clerical or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general office tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid insurance billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, caregivers, referrals and commercial accounts to provide equipment and services.
• Verify insurance eligibility and current coverage; handle billing as needed.
• Process customer orders accurately and timely in the computer system.
• Coordinate delivery/pickup times with patients and caregivers.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Maintain patient files and ensure documentation is complete.
