Job summary

Gladstone Psychiatry and Wellness in Bethesda is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Representative to create a welcoming first impression and ensure smooth front desk operations in a busy clinic.

You will greet patients, verify insurance and demographics, collect co-pays, maintain EMR records, schedule follow-ups, and coordinate with clinicians to support seamless patient care and timely communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of in-person customer service experience.
• Proven track record of customer satisfaction.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related products.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests in a courteous manner.
• Verify insurance and demographic information.
• Collect co-pays and balances from patients.
• Update patient information in the EMR and maintain records.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and send reminders.
• Manage front desk operations and coordinate with clinicians.
• Notify patients and clinicians of service delays and workflow needs.
