Job summary

Hope Neurological Medical Services and its affiliates is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to be the first contact for patients, visitors, and calls, delivering a warm, organized, and professional experience in a fast-paced clinic.

You will verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, schedule appointments, maintain front desk and waiting area, and support the billing team with charge capture and referrals, all while upholding HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or medical office certification preferred.
• 1–2 years in front desk, medical receptionist, or administrative role.
• Experience in medical/neurological settings and familiarity with insurance verification and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, visitors, and guests in a professional, welcoming manner.
• Verify demographics, insurance information, and referrals at each visit.
• Collect co-pays and patient balances; process payments accurately.
• Schedule appointments and provide after-visit instructions; manage reminders.
• Maintain a clean, organized front office and waiting area.
• Support billing with front-end charge capture and insurance verification.
