Job summary

Arizona Urology Specialists is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to deliver superb customer service to patients and staff. You will schedule appointments, handle check-in tasks, and support the office with minimal supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years front office medical experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Practice Management and EMR systems. Occasional travel to other sites within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years front office experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 and CPT-4 codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with computer software and database systems.
• Ability to travel to other sites within the region as needed.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and assist with scheduling tests as directed by the physician.
• Collect co-pays and past balances at check-in and enter them into the daily batch.
• Enter patient demographics and clinical information into Practice Management and EMR.
• Scan and attach driver’s license and insurance cards.
• Reconcile daily payment batches and report to Site Manager.
• Assist patients with Phreesia registration and travel to other sites as needed.
