Job summary

Upperline Health in Bradenton, FL is seeking a courteous and organized Patient Care Coordinator to support physicians in delivering clinic-based care. You will perform front desk receptionist duties, greet patients, collect information, and prepare them for appointments efficiently.

Responsibilities include scheduling, keeping on-time patient flow, handling payments, maintaining EMR records, and ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience as a front-office receptionist or assisting in an office or healthcare clinic or in customer service.
• Prior experience in a podiatric or orthopedic practice is preferred.
• Medical billing and coding experience is highly preferred.
• Experience working in an EMR, Athenahealth is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front desk receptionist duties: answer calls, greet patients, collect information, keep entrance area organized.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
• Maintain on-time schedules and inform physicians when patients arrive; retrieve and file records in EMR as needed.
• Collect payments from patients and update patient information.
• Maintain confidential patient records and ensure accurate filing.
