Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Patient Care Coordination, Medical Reception, Scheduling, Referral coordination, or Healthcare Administration.
• Experience in a medical office/clinic/hospital setting.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, referrals and appointment scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits and authorizations.
• Process referrals and obtain necessary documentation.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Coordinate communication between patients, physicians and clinical staff.
• Address patient inquiries and resolve scheduling or billing concerns.
