UnitedHealth Group's Optum unit is hiring an Associate Patient Care Coordinator in Seattle. The role supports clinic operations, patient flow, and front-desk activities at the practice site in downtown Seattle.

You will be the first point of contact, handling scheduling, data collection, and insurance verification with attention to HIPAA and Lean processes. The position demands strong customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Over 1 year of computer proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Over 1 year of customer service or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers into practice and provide instruction and/or direction as necessary both on the phone and in person.
• Obtain accurate and updated patient information such as name, address, insurance information.
• Perform insurance verification on the date of service.
• Schedule and coordinate all patient appointments as directed.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area, free of clutter.
• Follow HIPAA regulations.
• Adapt and perform effectively in a continuously changing environment.
