Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Preferred: 1+ years of medical office data entry; EMR experience; knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and manages wait time.
• Complete check-in and check-out tasks including insurance verification and precertification.
• Collects co-payments and deductibles and issues receipts.
• Operates cashier box and processes daily deposits.
• Answers phones and schedules appointments; answers questions as needed.
• Maintains medical records and handles release requests; logs activities.
