Job summary

H2 Health is seeking a Patient Coordinator for our Spring Branch outpatient clinic. You will greet patients, manage the daily schedule, verify insurance, and coordinate referrals to support smooth patient journeys.

You will work with therapists and administrative staff to maintain HIPAA-compliant records and deliver exceptional service. Occasional travel to the Schertz location may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous medical office experience with insurance verification and physician referrals is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems and standard office software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service.
• Schedule appointments and manage daily clinic schedule.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations as needed.
• Coordinate physician referrals and manage documentation.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Collaborate with therapists and clinic staff to support patient care.
• Assist with front office operations and maintain a welcoming clinic environment.
• Travel to Schertz clinic as needed for coverage.
