Mayo Clinic Health Unit Coordinator position located in Wisconsin offers frontline clerical support to patient care units and a role in ensuring efficient workflow within the care team.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and experience in a medical environment. EPIC experience and post-secondary HUC training are advantageous; flexible hours may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and keyboarding proficiency required.
• HUC post-secondary program completion or certification preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units.
• Monitor and order supplies; respond to patient call lights and escalate as needed.
• Assist care team with orders in the EHR and coordinate with staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff; support continuum of care.
• Support continuous improvement and professional development within the role.
