Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Wisconsin is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to provide frontline organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units. You will monitor supplies, assist the care team with EHR orders, and act as a resource across the care continuum.

Applicants should have completion of a HUC program or comparable experience, read and communicate in English, and be flexible to day, evening, or night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must complete a HUC program or have comparable experience.
• Read and communicate effectively in English; strong writing skills.
• Ability to multitask, work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units.
• Monitor supplies and assist with ordering; support EHR workflow for the care team.
• Communicate with patients, visitors, and staff across the continuum of care.
• Assist with delegated tasks under supervision of a registered nurse.
