Respire Physical Therapy seeks a Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience from the initial call through the final visit.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience (healthcare experience preferred).
• Maintains a high level of professionalism, discretion, and respect in all patient-facing and team interaction.
• Strong reliability, time-management skills, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service in-person and over the phone
• Verify insurance benefits and accurately input details into the EMR software
• Obtain and help track insurance prior authorizations
• Collect patient financial dues daily and weekly
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and the care team
