Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Service Coordinator to act as the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring seamless and efficient care journeys. The role emphasizes administrative accuracy, insurance verification, prior authorizations, and scheduling optimization within a nationwide physical therapy practice.

You will engage with patients and care teams, reconciling payments and coordinating with internal departments to support access to care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required (submission of diploma for highest level obtained will be required).
• 1–2 years of customer service experience; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management.
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments.
