Precision Rehabilitation & Orthopedic Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to greet patients, schedule initial evaluations, manage front-office operations, and ensure accurate medical-record documentation. The role requires handling phone communications, collecting co-pays, and coordinating with referring clinics while maintaining HIPAA-compliant data practices.

The ideal candidate has experience in medical reception, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with EHR

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in medical reception or a similar role.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect copayments as needed.
• Schedule follow-up appointments for patients.
• Distribute and collect medical forms and patient information packets.
• Document changes or cancellations in medical records as needed.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls; provide information to callers.
• Update referring clinics and Workers' Compensation carriers with progress reports.
• Maintain the prescription log in Dashboard.
• Maintain patient records including demographics, medical history, insurance, and appointments with HIPAA compliance.
• Assist in training staff, ordering supplies, and other duties as assigned.
