Precision Rehabilitation & Orthopedic Physical Therapy in Chicago is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to manage front desk activities, greet patients, schedule initial evaluations and follow-ups, and handle phone duties with care and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, 2 years in medical reception, and proficiency with Google Workspace and MS Office, working in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• 2 years of experience as Medical Receptionist or in a similar healthcare role.
• Basic computer skills in Google Workspaces and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally to create a positive first impression.
• Check in patients, verify insurance, and collect copayments as needed.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage patient flow.
• Distribute and collect forms and assist patients with completion.
• Document cancellations or changes in medical records as needed.
• Answer and route phone calls; provide information to callers.
• Keep referring clinics and workers' compensation carriers updated with progress reports.
• Maintain prescription log in Dashboard and up-to-date patient records.
• Handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA.
