Job summary

Confluent Health, LLC is seeking a Care Coordinator to serve as the first voice and face for patients at the Rhinelander clinic. You will manage front desk tasks, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and handle referrals with a patient-centered approach.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining HIPAA standards. Training and and growth opportunities are provided within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a medical front desk or healthcare reception.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
• Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, EMRs, email, and basic spreadsheets.
• Ability to discuss payments and scheduling professionally.
• A calm, patient-centered approach with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Front desk operations: check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals and patient records.
• Maintain patient flow: confirm appointments, manage waitlists, handle cancellations.
• Collect copays and payments accurately.
• Uphold HIPAA in interactions and documentation.
