Confluent Health is seeking a Care Coordinator for a fast-paced clinic environment. You will be the first voice patients hear, setting a welcoming tone and ensuring a smooth patient experience from check-in to visit.

The role requires organization, calm under pressure, and ownership of tasks such as scheduling, insurance verification, and payments. Training is provided with growth possibilities across clinics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone and handling upset callers with professionalism.
• Basic computer proficiency: scheduling software, emails, spreadsheets.
• No prior medical experience required — we provide comprehensive training including EMR navigation.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
• Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments and following up on waitlists.
• Collect copays, balances, and other payments accurately and professionally.
