Job summary

Confluent Health Round Rock is hiring a Care Coordinator to be the friendly first voice and face patients encounter. This full-time role supports the clinic with organized, warm, and professional service from the initial call through every visit, handling multitasking demands in a fast-paced setting.

You will manage front desk operations, verify insurance, coordinate referrals, and maintain patient flow while upholding HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
• Experience in a medical or clinical front desk setting preferred but not required.
• Comfort using EMR, scheduling systems, email, and basic spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients and visitors.
• Manage front desk operations including check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and calls.
• Review referrals, update patient records, and explain next steps to patients.
• Maintain patient flow by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and following up for future visits.
• Collect copays and payments accurately and securely, with basic payment reconciliation when needed.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA-compliant handling of information.
