Job summary

Confluent Health is looking for a Care Coordinator to be the friendly, organized first point of contact for patients at our Fishkill clinic. You will help with front desk tasks, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communications in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

You don’t need healthcare experience; training is provided. This part-time role offers patient-first engagement, privacy compliance, and opportunities to grow within the clinic leadership team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized.
• Confident phone communication with patience and professionalism.
• No prior medical experience required—training provided.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referrals.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, calls.
• Review and follow up on referrals; update patient records; explain next steps.
• Maintain patient flow by confirming appointments and managing waitlists.
• Collect copays and balance due; basic payment tracking.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA standards in all interactions.
