University of Toledo Physicians in Toledo, OH seeks a Patient Service Representative to be the primary contact for patients entering the clinic and by phone. You will handle multi-line calls, triage messages, and coordinate with providers and staff, while ensuring accurate patient demographics and scheduling in the EHR.

This role requires excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with EHR, Excel and Word, enabling smooth patient flow and strong support for the care

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with a multi-line telephone system.
• Data entry and keyboarding skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and ability to multitask.
• Critical thinking skills.

Mansioni

• Answers the multi-line phone in a timely and professional manner.
• Greets patients and visitors and directs to staff or waiting areas.
• Prepares documentation and collects co-pays at time of service.
• Triages, composes, and routes messages to appropriate recipients.
• Schedules patient appointments accurately following guidelines.
• Maintains patient charts and ensures records are complete.
