Optum is seeking an Associate Patient Care Coordinator (Primary Care/Internal Medicine) to support front office operations in Kent, OH. You will handle appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, and call handling as part of the Center Administrator team.

Responsibilities include verifying insurance, preparing charts, coordinating visits, and maintaining EMR records, with regular Monday–Friday shifts and potential coverage at Tallmadge if needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and register patients in EMR system.
• Collect copays and balances due at check-in.
• Request and retrieve records from offices or hospitals.
