Texas Physical Therapy Specialists, a Confluent Health brand, seeks a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist in Boerne, TX. You will be the first voice and face patients hear and see, setting a warm, organized and professional tone from the initial call through every visit.

In this fast-paced role, you will manage check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, payments, and HIPAA compliance while supporting clinic leadership and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a medical front desk or similar setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
• Comfort with computers, phones, scheduling, EMR, email, and basic spreadsheets.
• Professionalism discussing payments, scheduling, and insurance information.
• Calm, patient-centered approach with attention to detail and teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources
• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls
• Review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next steps
• Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visits
• Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when needed
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation
