Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a Float Patient Care Coordinator for the Huntsville and Madison clinics. You will perform medical front desk receptionist duties, greet patients, check in, and prepare them for appointments in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include scheduling, keeping on-time schedules, retrieving records, collecting payments, updating EMR data, and maintaining patient confidentiality while supporting a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a front-office receptionist or in a healthcare clinic or customer service.
• Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems, Athenahealth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in/out in a friendly and timely manner.
• Assist patients with scheduling and appointment coordination.
• Notify physicians when patients have arrived to maintain on-time schedules.
• Retrieve and file patient records as needed.
• Collect payments and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR.
• Manage office supply inventory and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
