Job summary

Upperline Health in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support physicians in a clinic setting. You will perform front desk receptionist duties, greet patients, check them in, schedule visits, and help maintain accurate EMR records.

Ideal candidates have healthcare front office experience, familiarity with EMR systems (Athenahealth preferred), and strong communication. Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred; must pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Front desk receptionist duties in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with medical billing and coding preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems, Athenahealth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and perform front desk receptionist duties.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining on-time schedules.
• Notify physicians when patients have arrived and check in.
• Retrieve and file patient records as needed and scan documents into EMR.
• Collect payments from patients and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain office supplies and confidentiality of patient information.
• Support team with additional duties as needed.
