Under the direction of the Business Office Manager, you will ensure accurate patient intake, efficient scheduling, and financial counseling with a patient‑centered approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, billing terminology, and HIPAA.
• Experience with scheduling systems and managing procedure block time.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and healthcare billing/scheduling software.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple phone lines and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage daily procedure schedules and block time.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel procedures in the scheduling system (HST).
• Conduct patient phone interviews to complete registration and intake forms.
• Explain insurance benefits and the Center's financial policies to patients.
• Collect copayments, deductibles, and outstanding balances on the date of service.
• Open and close the Center daily, ensure patient flow and safety compliance.
