AStep Ahead Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our Central TN team. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and skilled in handling multiple communication channels with patients and healthcare providers.

The role requires experience in a medical office, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with medical software. You will verify insurance, schedule appointments, and support the orthotist/prosthetist to ensure exceptional patient

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a medical office setting.
• Proficiency in computerized systems and software applications.
• Insurance verification experience.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
• Self-motivated and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for patient inquiries via phone and email.
• Assist Orthotist/Prosthetist in the office as needed.
• Perform insurance verifications.
• Answer and direct phone calls promptly.
• Conduct outbound calls for follow-up with physician offices.
• Submit authorizations and request prescriptions/documentation from physicians and Therapists.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars for practitioners.
• Provide exceptional patient support and address questions promptly.
• Collaborate with team to ensure seamless communication and service continuity.

We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and possess strong interpersonal skills to handle various communication channels. Responsibilities:

• - Serve as the primary contact for certain patient inquiries via phone and email.
• - Will be the primary point of contact for one of our Orthotist/Prosthetist here in office and assist them as needed.
• - Insurance verifications
• - Answer and direct phone calls promptly
• - Conduct outbound calling for follow up on information from physician offices
• - Submitting authorizations
• - Requesting prescriptions and documentation from Physicians and Therapists
• - Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars for practitioners
• - Provide exceptional patient support by promptly addressing questions, resolving any concerns.
• - Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and service continuity.
