Job summary

Spears Prosthetics and Orthotics in Memphis, TN seeks a dedicated Prosthetist/Orthotist. ABC certified and eligible for Tennessee licensure, you will provide high-quality patient care on a Monday–Friday schedule with one weekend per month.

Requirements include 2+ years of experience and residency in the Memphis area. You will evaluate patients, fabricate and adjust devices, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Prosthetist/Orthotist.
• ABC certification and eligibility for Tennessee licensure.
• Must reside in the Memphis area.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assess their prosthetic or orthotic need.
• Develop and provide appropriate treatment plan following the doctor's prescription.
• Perform patient fittings, adjustments, modifications, and follow-up care.
• Fabricate, modify, and complete prosthesis in house.
• Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper use, care, and maintenance of devices.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Ensure devices are properly fitted, functional, comfortable, meet quality standards.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming relationship with patients, families and healthcare providers.
• Stay current with industry standards, technology and best practices.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate professional who takes pride in providing high-quality patient care and enjoys working in a close-knit environment. This position is Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM with one weekend a month. Must have at least 2yr experience and be ABC certified Prosthetist /Orthotist and eligible for Tennessee Licensure. Must live in the Memphis or surrounding area.

RESPONSIBLITIES

Salary depends on experience and we offer holiday pay and time off pay and insurance and 401 after 90 days.
