ConvenientMD LLC in Nashua, NH is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first friendly face in our clinics. You will greet patients, register new and returning visitors, collect payments, and help ensure timely care.

You will work closely with the clinical team, manage reservations and scheduling, handle insurance inquiries, and navigate electronic records while upholding HIPAA standards. This role offers growth in a patient-centered environment with flexible shifts and opportunities to learn

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proactive and confident communicator (written and verbal).
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Compassionate, authentic, and patient focused.
• Technically savvy: proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Effective communicator and cross collaborator across the organization.
• Excellent team player with initiative and reliability.
• Driven and self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; adheres to policies (HIPAA).
• Trustworthy: ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients in a welcoming and professional manner, addressing inquiries and providing assistance in person and over the phone.
• Register patients efficiently, ensuring completion of all required forms with accurate information.
• Handle insurance and billing inquiries, providing clear information to patients.
• Aid ill or distraught patients as necessary and with available resources.
• Collect payments, insurance co-pays, and prescription charges per clinic policies.
• Manage patient reservations (online and walk-in) and registration to optimize satisfaction and provider schedules.
• Assist in scheduling specialist referrals for patient follow-up.
• Navigate multiple software systems following HIPAA protocols.
