Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a medical clinic or customer service experience preferred.
• BLS preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with employees, patients, and others.
• Willingness to travel locally up to 10% to cover other centers as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic phone/computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
• Greet every guest entering the center and assist with registrations.
• Handle patient check-in and check-out and manage phone messages.
• Maintain and organize the Provider’s schedule and appointments.
• Verify patient insurance information and collect copays and balances.
• Scan documents into the EMR system and process faxes.
• Keep front office and lobby area neat and stocked.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and participate in daily huddles.
