Job summary

InnovaCare Health in Texas is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the heartbeat of our care team, supporting physicians, guiding patients, and ensuring visits feel effortless and personal. Your day-to-day includes welcoming patients, managing the front desk, scheduling, and maintaining accurate registrations.

You will coordinate with providers and the care team, help patients overcome barriers, and ensure smooth intake and records handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience in healthcare settings (1–2 years).
• Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors at the clinic entrance.
• Manages waiting room and notifies delays within 15 minutes of arrival.
• Manages front desk workflow and communicates with the MAs.
• Manages the providers' schedule daily.
• Maintains registration and updates patient information.
• Assists patients with intake processes and problem solving barriers.
• Collects payments and supports cashiering as needed.
• Answers phones and schedules appointments; may assist case manager with hospital follow-up.
• Maintains medical records and ensures timely filing.
