STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator in Cookeville, TN to be the first point of contact for patients and customers, delivering friendly, efficient service and supporting care teams.

You will handle administrative tasks, patient care assistance, and maintain clinic areas while communicating with staff, physicians, patients, and insurance companies to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years medical office receptionist experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with EMR software; Raintree knowledge a plus.
• Understanding of Medical Insurance Verification & Authorization
• Excellent communication skills both verbal & written.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate delivery of health care through customer service, administrative tasks, and assisting with patient care; be the voice & face of STAR.
• Maintain pleasant and consistent clinic flow with excellent customer service and effective communication with staff, physician offices, patients, and insurers.
• Maintain orderly treatment, reception, and storage areas.
