Job summary

CommonSpirit Medical Group - Family Medicine - Ringgold is seeking a Clinic Receptionist to be the welcoming heart of the clinic, ensuring a calm and efficient patient journey from the moment of arrival. You will manage patient check-in, schedule appointments, collect copays and insurance information, and copy/scan documents into the electronic medical record to keep charts ready for visits.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, basic computer proficiency, and a compassionate approach

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required at hire.
• Minimum 1 year health care experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients at time of visit and complete all paperwork for efficient admitting and policy compliance.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, including copays and deductibles.
• Copy/scan patient-related documents into the electronic medical record.
• Prepare charts for patient appointments with complete information.
