ForMotion is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to create a positive patient experience and support clinic operations. You will greet patients, register them, and help compile chart documentation for the orthotics/prosthetics practice.

Key duties include answering calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining EMR records, verifying insurance, and assisting in marketing to referral sources. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of medical office experience preferred using EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and triage inquiries, directing callers to appropriate staff.
• Schedule appointments and update patient demographics in the EMR.
• Maintain complete patient records in the EMR per policy.
• Verify insurance, explain billing policies, and collect patient payments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist in patient flow and safety procedures.
• Provide administrative support and promote paperless workflows.
